Jack Barry Power

Born March 8, 1952 in Portsmouth, he was the son of Mildred Maddox Power and the late Jack Bray Power. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Power, Sr., Alan Power, and Tony Johnson. Barry was a longtime employee of Flowers Bakery.

In addition to his mother, Barry is survived by his sister, Jane P. Gallier and husband Roy; nephews, Dennis Power, Jr. (Michelle) and Randy Power (Misty); nieces, Allyson Ponton and Brihanna Johnson; great nephew, Rudy Power; great niece, Skyler Power and a special great niece, Amber Osment. Barry is also survived by a special friend, Kim Dawson.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Daryl Donald officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
