James Stanley Keith

Born on January 28, 1947 in Alexandria, he was the son of the late James Raymond Keith and the late Mary Osborne Keith. James retired from the Blue Ridge Regional Jail as an IT Director. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was camping, fishing, working in the yard, or being at the beach. He also enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical. James loved his family and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Janet Keith, he is survived by a daughter, Kathy Keith Randolph and husband Mark of Garner, NC; 11 grandchildren, Boyd Randolph and Lacey of New Bern, NC, Andrew Randolph and Sandy of Raleigh, NC, Hayley Randolph, Joseph Randolph, Josiah Randolph, Elizabeth Randolph, Jamie Randolph, Hannah Randolph, Elijah Randolph, Eliana Randolph and Joshua Randolph, all of Garner, NC; five great grandchildren, Rachel Randolph, Rebekah Randolph, Ethan Eubanks, Brady Sutton, and Matthew Spence of New Bern, NC; brother, Hugh Keith and wife Crystal of Wake, VA; and sister, Mary Frances Forrester and husband Gene of Lively, VA.

There will be no formal services at this time.
