He was born on July 31, 1929 in Prospect, son of the late William W. Vaughan and Eura R. Vaughan.
Jimmy attended Olive Branch United Methodist. He served his county in the United States Marines during the Korean War, was retired from auto management and was an avid golfer in his youth.
In addition to his parents, four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
His loving wife, Lucille M. Vaughan; a sister, Annie Belle Vaughan Agee; a niece, Carolyn Vaughan and a number of nieces and nephews survive him.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 11:45 on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 12 noon with Pastor Roger Roller officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Concord.
