Janice Boaze Campbell

Janice Boaze Campbell, 73, of Madison Heights passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of 50 years to Roy Lee Campbell. Born April 17, 1942, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Billy Boaz and the late Irene Moore Doss.

Janice was a retired deli manager for Kroger and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by one brother, David Doss of Madison Heights.

In addition to her husband, Janice is survived by five children, Robert Campbell and his wife Beth of Lynchburg, Mark Campbell and his wife Vickie of Madison Heights, Glenn Campbell and his girlfriend Lisa Cooke of Madison Heights, Bryan Campbell and his wife Sherry of Amherst and Brad Campbell and his wife Monica of Concord; four siblings, Don Doss and his wife Dee of Rustburg, Barbara Hudson and her husband Frank of Concord, Ricky Doss and his wife Marilyn of Myrtle Beach, SC and Glenn Doss also of Myrtle Beach, SC; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one special uncle, John Henry Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2015, at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence.
