
Born February 21, 1941, in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Scott Johns, and Virginia Johns Branham. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her son, Franklin "Pete" Johns, of Charleston, WVA; her daughter, Kathy Mays, of Madison Heights; two foster children, James and Lottie Miller, of Lynchburg; two brothers, Preston Branham and wife Bertie, of Monroe, and Mac Johns and wife Pat, of Glen Bernie, MD; three sisters, Jean Branham and husband Eddie, of Monroe, Mamie Branham, of Madison Heights, and Eleanor Johns and, longtime friend, Roy, of Madison Heights; four grandchildren, Daniel Johns, of Madison Heights, Nicole, Adam, and Steven Johns, all of Kansas; four great-grandchildren; special friend, Wallace Staubitz, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6-9:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel, and at other times at the residence of her daughter, 192 Seminole Drive, in Madison Heights.
