John "Jw" Wayne Lipscomb

John Wayne “JW” Lipscomb, 54, of Madison Heights, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his residence. Born on February 8, 1967 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Juanita Irene Ward Ennis and the late John Hansen Lipscomb. JW enjoyed racing at the Natural Bridge Speedway and was a Dixie Softball Coach and a Monelison Bruins Football Coach in Amherst County. He was a member of Eastbrook Baptist Church. JW is survived by his children, Jamie Campbell and husband Phillip, Kaleb Bond, and Kaylene Bond; two grandchildren, Kelly and Kyle Campbell; mother, Juanita Ennis and husband Wayne; brother, Michael Ennis and wife Shannon; step-sisters, Cathy Tucker and husband Jerry and Cheryl Stone; nephews, Zachary and Dalton Ennis; and numerous other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Daryl Donald and Pastor Curtis Walkup officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery.
