Born in Lynchburg, September 23, 1989, he was the son of Mark and Cathy Lindsay of Madison Heights. He is also survived by three brothers, Taylor Joseph Lindsay and his girlfriend Emily Couch, Thomas Wayne Woosley, Jr. and Stephen Anthony Woosley; his paternal grandmother, Aurelia Ann Lindsay; Aunts and Uncles, David and Carol Lindsay, Darren Gillis, Debbie Woosley and Annette Whalen; his girlfriend Megan Gezen; best friends, Nate Miller and Jeremy Tomlin; special friends Derek Deaver, Daniel Deaver, Conrad Huband, Ryan Kreuziger, Jeff Knight, Ryan Martell, Andy Drinkard, Coty Reynolds, Caleb East and many other friends and extended family and his German Shepard “Kaine”.
Two sisters, Breanna and Savannah Lindsay preceded him in death.
Jon never met a stranger, he loved his friends and according to them, he was a great listener, was the best story teller and was someone they could always rely on. He loved being on the water, it didn’t matter if it was the river or the lake. He loved to fish for largemouth bass and enjoyed water sports. Jon was an avid fan of both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oklahoma Sooners and was also an Alan Jackson fan. He had worked for Griffin Pipe and attended Thomas Road Baptist Church.
A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow in Tree of Life Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday August 13, 2018 at Thomas Road Baptist Church.
