Joe was preceded in death by his father, James Preston Jones. Left to cherish his memory is his devoted mother, Jessie M. Jones, four brothers, Roger L. Jones, James R. Jones (Cindy), Johnny W. Jones (Marlyn), and Ronald L. Jones, eight sisters, Shirley Doss (Jimmy), Elizabeth Maddox (Joe), Linda Tomlin, Kathy Campbell (Calvin), Carolyn Peters (Ricky), Sharon Wilhelm, Sandra Jones, and Jessica Jones, a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles who loved Joe very much.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 4th at Whitten Monelison Chapel from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. A private grave side service will be held at the Jones Family Cemetery at a later date.
