Born on January 14, 1952 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Roy Staton and Dorothy Staton McFadden.
Kathleen had a kind and loving heart. She was a good friend to those who knew her and she always put others before herself.
Kathleen is survived by her son, Frankie Carroll; grandson, Harley Ray Carroll; half sisters and brothers, Roy Wayne Staton, Judy Ellis, Janice Staton, Jennifer Moore, Denise Osborne, Ted Staton, Jr., and Danny Staton; step-mother, Phyllis Staton; and aunt, Matris Watts and husband Cecil.
A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Union Christian Church, 160 Parsonage Rd, which is off River Road in Madison Heights, with Rev. Jim Freeman officiating.
