Kristi Dawn Hunt

Kristi Dawn Hunt, 37, of Madison Heights, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at her residence.

Born October 26, 1978 in Lynchburg, Kristi was the daughter of Barry Wayne and Brenda Peters Hunt Madison Heights. Kristi was a Day Treatment Clinician at Horizon Behavioral Health and a Counselor at Bridges of Centra Health. She attended River Church in Madison Heights.

Kristi was preceded in death by a grandfather, Thomas Roberts Hunt; a grandmother, Phyllis Ashwell Peters, and an uncle, Timothy Ray Hunt.

In addition to her parents, Kristi is survived by her sister, Wendy Hunt Archibald and husband Cory of Atlanta, GA; her niece, Olivia Sloan Archibald; her nephew, Jaxon Chase Archibald; her grandfather, William Peters of Madison Heights; her grandmother, Dorothy Ogden Hunt, also of Madison Heights and numerous other special family members and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Thomas Donovan officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 at the funeral home and other times at the home of her parents.
