I met Mike as a constable when he had to come help with my Autistic granddaughter when she had behavior on the school bus. He was so compassionate and understanding.  He offered help many times throughout the years before they moved. He added me on Facebook and TikTok and I enjoyed his post and ministry.  He offered advice and support without reserve or judgment with the Love of the Lord. He will be missed by so many, however it's comforting to know he's with God now.

Mike I just won't to say I'm was so glad to get to know you wish I could spend more time  with you but it was all good good man going to miss you bro   just keep looking over us  you will never be forgotten love you rest in peace

Mike was a very special caring soul ..I see where he had touched so many lives in so many ways..he was a kind man to many people..he was very special to my niece ..who rode his bus..and she was so sad at his passing..he had a beautiful voice and spirit..he will dearly be missed I know there is comfort in knowing that he is with the Lord

Our hearts were broken when we heard of Mike’s passing. Mike was our young adults leader at church, and him and robin opened up their home to us and made us feel like family from the first time we met them. We cherished those bible studies with them and never imagined our last one would be the very last. 

Mike always had a smile on his face and was ready to tell a joke. He was such a talented man of God and will truly be missed by so many. 

Robin & family, we are so sorry for your loss and we are here for you guys if you ever need anything at all! You all are in our prayers.

Mike was one of our door greeters at Church and always had a smile on his and made everyone feel welcomed. He was also part of our security team and stayed in the back to make sure we were all safe!!! 

He had an awesome talent of playing the keyboard and singing!!! He will be greatly missed in our Church!! Our prayers is that God will bring peace and comfort to Robin and her family!! Until we meet again go rest high on that mountain!!!

Although Mike and Robin have been with our church for only short time, it seems as if I have known them much longer!  Mike was an amazing musician. He was truly blessed and served the Lord throughout his life. He and Robin took the young adults under their wings by sharing time with them at Mike and Robins. It is Amazing to see the outpouring of love for him and Robin on Facebook and other means. This is heartbreaking as it feels he was taken was to soon, but it can’t be in our time but the Lord’s time. He was ready for Mike to play and sing in the heavenly choir. He will need missed by many. Our loss is heavens gain! Mike was such a kind and talented person. He and Robin came to Monroe Church of God and was loved by all in the church. Mike played beautiful and touched so many hearts. I will never forget when I put a message on the Praise team page that I couldn’t make it on a Sunday because we had to get up cows. Mike did not hesitate to text and ask if we needed help. That meant so much to Ralph and I that he would offer this help. Mike always had a smile on his face whenever I seen him. My heart is broke for this loss of Mike and he will be missed dearly.  We love you Mike and will see you soon in heaven.  I know you are playing beautiful music in Heaven. The Church will be there for your lovely wife and her family until we all can be together again.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He was truly a kind man and a truly unselfish person. His faith in our Lord Jesus Christ was first. I’ve known Mike since I was in elementary school and he played in the junior high and high school  band with my siblings. Praying for strength and guidance for Robin, their children and families and for Mike’s mother!

My name is Tommy Milner.  I grew up in Tanglewood , in North Little Rock, just two houses up the street. I’m very sorry for your loss. I never saw Mike angry, only laughing and I can still remember the sound of his laugh from when I was a kid. It is nice when the only things you can remember about someone is good. I can only think of good things when I think about Mike. We need more like Mike who were gentle men but still knew they were men. With love. My condolences. Tommy Milner.

Robin & Family,
There’s so much I want to say since Mike grew up across the street from my cousin Shelley Dailey. We rode bikes in Tanglewood and eventually were stuck with each other in 7th grade BAND. Mike always took his trombone and put his slide in my back as we were walking to the field to learn to march for football games. I told him ,”you’re lucky you don’t get a flute over the head.” 
Mike always kept me entertained in band 7th-12th grade. We graduated high school together on May 31,1984. We loved being North Little Rock Ole Main Wildcats. “We believe forevermore, were the class of 84’.
With the advent of Facebook in 2007, I was one of the lucky ones to plan our 25th high school reunion. I found 300 of the 330 who graduated on Facebook. It’s been fun keeping up with everyone in these new seasons of life. 
I had a great idea to buy a stick shift Mazda RX8 in 2016 and it was close to Mike in Virginia/Maryland. Mike went to survey the car, take photos, and give me the ok if it was a good buy. My husband Keith and I flew to Maryland and Mike picked us up at airport and took us to our hotel.
My husband Keith was dx stage 4 cancer in June,2014. Our class had planned a cruise that month. We had to cancel and begin my husbands treatment asap! They gave Keith 9 months at CARTI in Little Rock. So, we opted to go to the brand new CTCA in Newnan,Georgia. Keith made it 3 1/2 years with lots of faith and prayer ! 
Keith graduated to Heaven in October,2017. I was only 51 years young. It devastated me and our three adult children. While I was processing my grief, Mike phoned me and messaged me via Facebook to check on me. He also treated me to Waffle House 3-4 times and we really both focused on our love for Jesus during those talks. Being widowed is no walk in the park and the loss encamps every part of your life. I’m thankful I was raised in a Godly home and I had friends who came beside me to offer help and hope.

I hope you find your peace and know your family is surely blessed by your ever lasting presence.

Mike was a wonderful person and he made a huge difference with his online Bible study in so many lives. Those of us that knew him as a Bus Driver at Greenbrier will truly miss him.
