

Lauchee was born March 23, 1932, in Amherst County. She was the daughter of the late Henley Martin and Florence Staton Martin. She was the loving wife of the late William. (Bud) Williams, of Madison Heights. One daughter, Serinna Frances Campbell; one brother, Gordon Martin; and sisters, Frances Mays, Elsie Mays, Lena Gross, and Nellie Anderson preceded Lauchee to Heaven.
Lauchee leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Peggy Williams Robbins and husband, Danny, and Janice Williams Tomlin and husband Wayne, of Madison Heights. Survivors also include grandchildren, Clyde Campbell Jr., Jamie White and husband Robert, Aaron Tomlin and wife Danielle, Eddie Tomlin; great-grandchildren, Serinna White and Tyler Tomlin; one brother, Clarence Martin; three sisters, Dorothy Inge, Bessie Dean, and Catherine Moore; and one son-in-law, Clyde Campbell Sr.
Lauchee loved her Lord and was a member of Northside Baptist Church, in Madison Heights. She was retired from CVTC where she worked in food service for many years.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at Whitten Monelison Chapel, and at other times at the residence.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011, at Whitten Monelison Chapel, by the Rev. Jacob Uthup. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

Also in remembrance of our Mama take time to say a kind word, give a helping hand or just give a smile to someone. Our Mama was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
