He was born on September 3, 1942 in Highland Heights, MI, son of the late Harold and Gwendolyn Flannery.
Larry served his country proudly in the United States Navy and was retired from A.M.G, Inc. He loved antique muscle cars and going to car shows.
In addition to his wife Betty, he is survived by 3 children, Lisa K. Campbell and husband Dwayne, Michael L. Flannery and wife Kim and Vickie C. Gibson and husband Ronnie Wright; 1 brother, Jerry Flannery; 2 sisters, Joyce Manis and Audrey Wozniak; 8 grandchildren, Terri Hubbard, Jessica Patterson and husband Randall, Jeremy Hubbard, Randall Gibson, Jacob Flannery, Emily Flannery, Chad Wright and Michael Campbell; 2 great grandchildren, Brock and Eli Patterson.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Clifford Baptist Church, 635 Fletchers Level Road, Amherst, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Clifford Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Michael Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow at Amherst Cemetery.
