Born on January 1, 1943, in Lynchburg, Virginia, Linda was the daughter of the late Lawrence H. Robey and Lola C. Robey. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marty Ann Lipscomb.
Linda retired as an inspector from Parker Hannifin Powertrain. She was devoted to her family and especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren. The family extends special thanks to Emmitt for his loving care, dedication, and constant presence throughout Linda’s life.
She is survived by her life partner of 41 years, Emmitt Tolbert; her children, Kim M. Rivera (Louie) and Brian Hillsman; her brother, Ron Robey (Judy); her grandchildren, Kasey Rivera (Niki), Karter Rivera (Katie), and Brady Hillsman; and her great-grandchild, Julian Rivera.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Dwight Weaver officiating. Burial will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery.
