Born in St. Petersburg, FL., May 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Emerson Troy Sparks and Gladys Chitwood Sparks. She was previously a member of Seven Hills Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, H. Troy Nicks and his wife Judith of Amherst; two grandsons, David T. Nicks of Selmer, TN and Brady S. Nicks of Roseland and five great grandchildren
Services will be private.
