Born on November 16, 1936 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Sadie Frances Terry.
Lucille was a member of Temple Baptist Church and she enjoyed bluegrass music and making quilts.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Robert Ennis.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Sadie Lee and husband James of Madison Heights; three grandchildren, Amanda Lee, Miranda Lee, and Vivian Lee; sister, Louise Powell; niece, Melissa Powell and husband Steve and their children, Caitlyn and Anthony.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Earl Clarkson officiating. Interment will follow at Saint Lukes Episcopal Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 10 am.
