

Born November 24, 1963 in Rome NY, he was the son of the late Daniel Albert Hammon Jr and the late Reda Jean Flint Hammon.
Marc was an Army veteran that served his country for over a decade, serving during Desert Storm. He was a dedicated husband of 33 years to Jo, traveling from coast to coast during his time in the military. He enjoyed the beach, fishing, soccer, tinkering, and auto mechanics. As of recent, he was a mechanic with James River Equipment Company.
Marc is survived by his daughter, Christine R. Pierce and husband Derrick of Amherst; a brother, Dan Hammon (Allison) of Cherry Plains, NY; a sister, Yvette Armstrong of New York Mills, NY; nieces and nephews Daniel Hammon, Robin Armstrong, Donald Armstrong, Savannah Hammon and his very special granddaughter, Sara G. Green. In addition, he is survived by his father-in-law, Henry “Hoagy” Boyce (Judi), sister-in-law, Judy Boyce and many other loved ones, family and friends.
Marc will be remembered as an honorable man who loved his family and always worked hard. He will be loved forever and will be so very missed.
A celebration of Marc’s life and reunion with his one true love, will be scheduled in the future.
