Margaret Banko Cindrick

Margaret Banko Cindrick, 95, of Waynesboro passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. She was the wife of the late Matthew Cindrick. Born December 16, 1921, in Wynn, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Maria Banko of Uniontown, PA. She was raised at the family home and farm in Hopwood, PA.

In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary, Irene, Emma and Sue; one brother, William; and three nephews, Ronald, Joel and Dale.

Margaret is survived by her children, Robert Cindrick of Waynesboro, Lawrence Cindrick, Sr. and his wife Rachel (Bobbie) of Gladstone and Dennis Cindrick and Paula of Uniontown, PA; five grandchildren, Barbara Poole and her husband Charles of Concord, Lawrence Cindrick, Jr. and his wife Nita of Amherst, David Cindrick of Elizabethton, TN, Jody Anthony and her husband Todd of Heritage, PA and Brent Cindrick of Uniontown, PA; seven great grandchildren, Chase Poole and fiancée’ Julianne and Joshua Poole of Concord, Jordan Cindrick of Amherst, Haley Cindrick of Norfolk, Emily Anthony and Dylan Anthony of Heritage, PA, Jason Martin and his wife Felicia of Amherst and Ashley Bryant and her husband Jason of Madison Heights; seven great-great grandchildren, Nathan and Bella Martin, Noelle, Natalie and Nadia Turley, Kinzleigh and Kaiden Bryant; one great-great-great grandchild, Vanessa; two brothers, Frank Banko of Farmville and Joseph Banko of Nevada City, CA; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

All will miss our mother, grandma, great grandma, great-great grandma, great-great-great grandma. Loved by all. Rest in peace.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence of Lawrence Cindrick, Sr. in Gladstone.

Graveside services will be private.
