Born on April 15, 1943 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Burnest Dudley and Dorothy Hesh. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Preston Eugene Cyrus, Sr.; two sons, Preston Cyrus, Jr. and Mark Cyrus; and a daughter, Pamela Cyrus.
She enjoyed playing cards and loved to travel. Not one to accept or like receiving gifts, she certainly made sure that her family always had what they needed and would give the shirt off of her back to those that she loved.
