Margaret Juanita Gibson

Margaret Juanita Gibson, 76, of Madison Heights, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
She was born on January 25, 1946 in Amherst County, daughter of the late Buster Gibson and the late Frances Gibson.
Margaret was a member of Calvary Cross Baptist Church and was retired from Central Virginia Training Center. She loved to crochet and knit and enjoyed reading but especially she enjoyed reading her bible.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Steven Nuckles, Sr.; three brothers, Warren Gibson, Eddie Gibson, Sr., and Clinton Butch Gibson; and a sister, Brenda Chapman.
She is survived by seven grandchildren, Gary Steven Nuckles, Jr. and wife Sam, Christopher Thomas Nuckles and wife Hannah, Marcus Allen Nuckles, Steven Ray Nuckles and wife Nicole, Thomas Lee Nuckles, Corey Nuckles, and Shawn Nuckles; a brother, Wayne Wills and wife Delores; six great grandchildren and a sister, Carolyn Faye Mays and husband Bill; her former daughter in law, Rae Rochelle Nuckles; daughter in law, Ragina Nuckles as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Calvary Cross Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Cross Baptist Church, 1700 James Street, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
