Margaret Steppe Moses

Born in Lynchburg, November 25, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Bailey Steppe and Shirley Waller Steppe. Margaret was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts and gardening. She was a member of New Chapel Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Glen Allen Moses two sons, Ronald Lee Moses and Larry W. Moses and one daughter, Lucinda Moses.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen M. Bogle and her husband Paul of Madison Heights; one brother, Lewis Bailey Steppe, Jr. of Lynchburg; one sister, Sylvia S. Peak of Lynchburg and one granddaughter, Erica Evans of Madison Heights.

A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at New Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Dooley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
