Marion "Loretta" Ennis Hunt

Born July 19, 1939 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Franklin Ennis and Dollie Fitzgerald Ennis White. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Ennis and Lawrence Ennis; a sister, Regenia Wrenn and a great-grandson, Caden Angus. Ms. Hunt was a retired, self-employed caregiver. She was of Baptist faith.

Ms. Hunt is survived by her sons, Don A, Hunt, Jr. (Darlene) of Monroe, Michael Hunt (Debbie) and Randall S. Hunt (Melody), both of Madison Heights; her daughter, Kimberly H. Angus (Gary), also of Madison Heights; two brothers, James Ennis and Wayne Ennis (Juanita) both of Madison Heights. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate Ms. Hunt’s life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Sam Stump officiating. Entombment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the funeral home.
