Morris Rodney Bagby, 76, of Lynchburg, passed away, Thursday, October 20, 2022. He was the devoted husband of the late Olivia Ann Castleberry Bagby.

Born April 13, 1946 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Glautin Collins Bagby and Christine Dorothy Via Bagby. He was also preceded in death by a brother, G.C. Bagby. Mr. Bagby was a retired machinist with B&W and a retired self-employed truck driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of American Legion Post 274, where he enjoyed attending with his many friends. He was a member of Fairview Christian Church.

Mr. Bagby is survived by his daughter, Lisa Bagby Tomlin (Jeff) of Lynchburg; his son, Mark Allen Bagby (Carlos) of Madison Heights; a sister, Patricia B. Stinnette of Hampton and two granddaughters, Samantha Tomlin and Erica Fonseca.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 1-5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022, in the Club House at Willowbrook Apartments, 120 Clubhouse Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
