Born June 19, 1968 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Howard Dudley “Pete” Tyree, Sr. and the late Lucy Gottschall Tyree. Norman was a maintenance and steel worker with Banker Steel Company. He was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Norman is survived by two sons, Michael Norman Tyree of Arizona and Joshua Chase Tyree of Amherst; two sisters, Joyce L. Tyree and Karen T. Martin and her fiancé, Jeff France, both of Madison Heights; one brother, Howard D. Tyree, Jr. and his wife Leslie of Monroe and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and other times at the residence.
