Olivia Ann Castleberry Bagby, 75, of Lynchburg, formerly of Hampton, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of Morris Rodney Bagby for fifty-six years.

Born April 21, 1946 in Durham, NC, she was the daughter of Hazel June Viar Castleberry of Madison Heights and the late James Dossie Castleberry. Mrs. Bagby was a retired LPN for more than twenty years. She loved her family, sunbathing on the beach and fishing. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bagby Tomlin (Jeff) of Lynchburg; her son, Mark Allen Bagby (Carlos) of Madison heights; two sisters, Gypsy Proffitt of Madison Heights and Tandra Clifton (Buddy) of Raleigh, NC and two granddaughters, Samantha Tomlin and Erica Fonseca.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Fort Hill Memorial Park with The Rev. R. Todd Blake officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
