Patricia Lee Johnson Cooke

Patricia Lee Johnson Cooke, 47, of Madison Heights, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Stephen Harlan Cooke.

Born March 1, 1963 in Lincoln, NE, she was the daughter of Edward Lowell and Gloria Stevens Johnson of Madison Heights. She was an Administrative Assistant with Harris Corporation and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father in law, the Rev. Dr. Harlan Cooke.

In addition to her husband and parents, Patricia leaves to cherish her memory four children, Steven Cody Johnson, Jillian Amber Conner and husband, Dustin, Nicholas Evan Cooke, and Katelin Marie Cooke, all of Madison Heights; six sisters, Barbara Johnson of Las Vegas, NV, Susan Burton of Oklahoma, Debra Johnson of Madison Heights, and Sandra Musgrave, June Champoux, and Joan Kimball, all of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Alyssa June Conner and Ayden Joshua Conner and her mother-in-law, Barbara June Cooke of Madison Heights.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Hudson and the Rev. Ray Bucklew officiating. Interment will follow in Meade Cemetery

Friends are invited to view Patricia at Whitten Monelison Chapel, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday and at the church, beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
