Patricia Lloyd Jones

Patricia Lloyd Jones, 77, of Gladstone peacefully passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the loving wife of Dorman Jones, Sr.

Born in Lynchburg on June 25, 1944 she was a daughter of the late Harlan Collins Lloyd and Hilda Campbell Lloyd.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a beloved brother, Joe Lloyd; a brother-in-law, Joe Martin, and a great-grandchild, Taylynn.

She is survived by two sons, Dorman Jones, Jr. and his wife Michelle and Daniel Jones and his wife Sam; five daughters, Teresa Widener and husband Jim, Alice Mattox and husband Warren, Tracey Bryant and husband Macky, Jennifer Martin and husband Greg and Katherine Jones; two brothers Tommy Lloyd and wife Barbara, and Raymond Lloyd and Wife Martha; one sister, Kathy Martin; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Lloyd; grandchildren, Heather Mays and husband Michael, Hannah Campbell and husband Cody, Dorman Jones, lll, Leo Jones, Robert Bayne, Jr. and wife Jessica, Kelsey Bayne, Samantha Tyree, Brittney Tyree, Kaylee Bryant, Kenzie Burrill and husband Matthew, Karli Bryant, Greg Martin, Jr. and wife Patty, Jazmine Martin, Mary Weakley and husband Nathaniel, Alexus Martin, Caleb Post, Chloe Post and Elijah Post; great-grandchildren, Nicolas Sipes, Griffin Bayne, Kristyana Myers-Bayne, Adaline Burrill, William Martin, Macie Martin, Madison Martin, and Austin Weakley.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Dave Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery followed by fellowship at Gladstone Rescue Squad. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
