With deepest sympathy, I write this to express that I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a sweet, sweet, spirit as Marie. This beautiful soul was 5 ft. of nothing, but pure love and acceptance, but could be a real spitfire if need be. She brought sheer joy and sisterhood to my life at a time that was extremely difficult for me. She shed much sunlight on my life at a very dark time and helped me through it. We shared laughs, tears, and had a blast, with a lot of fun and good times in the process. She loved her family and extended family unconditionally and spoke of them often. She loved GOOD classic Country music and loved to dance! I hope she is setting the floor on fire with all of her loved ones that were waiting to receive her, as she celebrates her "Farewell Party," which was one of her favorite songs!
Rest easy my sweet friend now that there is no more pain and suffering to hold you down, spread your beautiful wings and fly....take a deep breath and breathe the purest air of all!
My prayers are with the family that she left behind on this earth, because now they will have to figure out how to go on without the "backbone" of their family. She gave you all the tools to know right from wrong and to live good lives, don't let her down! May you find some peace and comfort through the coming days to help you get through this loss.

R.I.P Marie - Godspeed

Love always,
Teresa Brooks

So sorry for your loss.
Marie was a sweet lady. I did her hair for many years. Didn’t know she was sick, but I know she is in a better place. I know she will be missed.
