So sorry to hear this.  I was a classmate at Appomattox High.  May your memories bring you comfort.

I don't know anyone that didn't like or love Phyllis. She was a good person, a sweet person, always pleasant and friendly. Many years ago, she kept my daughter while I worked. That's when they lived in Hampton for a while. She taught my daughter to tie her shoe laces and it's a memory that has always stayed with my daughter.

Our condolences to the family.  I pray that our Heavenly Father holds all of you in His loving arms as you grieve the loss of this wonderful lady. Love and hugs.

Phyllis always had a beaming smile with lots of love and laughter behind that smile. She was always fun to be with and talk to. Strong supporter of her immediate and extended families and always helping in her jovial manner. She was a model wife, mother, daughter-in-law, grandmother and servant of the Lord. Our deepest respects and prayers are with Ronald, Scott and Shawn. We know Phyllis is in good hands and has left fond and lasting memories with us all.
