Rita Donnelly Normington

Born June 12, 1946, Rita was known for her deeply devoted love and care of her family and those close to her. She also reverently enjoyed serving her heritage and volunteering years of dedicated service to the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Our Lady of Knock Division.

Overall, Rita’s life was one of respect and love for her heritage and her family whom she truly cherished.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in passing by her loving husband John W. Normington; a son James Joseph Normington; her siblings Michael Donnelly, Kevin Donnelly, Margaret Donnelly, Marita Reilly; and her grandson in law Brandon Salvia.

Those left to cherish Rita’s memory include her son John A. Normington and his wife Mary; her daughter Susan E. McCafferty and her husband Ronald; her grandchildren Sarah Quarles and her husband Collin, Mary Kate Salvia, Jack McCafferty, Andreas (Drew) Angiolelli, Liam Normington; her great-grandchildren Damon Salvia, Atticus Salvia; and her brothers James Donnelly and his wife Kathy, Joseph Donnelly and his wife Ronnie.

There will be a memorial service to take place in Rita’s hometown in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, later with details to come.
