

Bob was a devoted family man, always ready and willing to do whatever he could to support his wife and daughters. His every action was motivated by his desire to care for his family.
Those left to cherish Bob’s memory include his beloved wife of 38 years Tina Mihalik; his daughters Samantha “Sami” Mihalik of Monroe, Amanda “Mandi” Mihalik of Lynchburg; his mother Mary Donna Caromano Mihalik; his siblings Joseph Mihalik of Virginia Beach, Elizabeth Mihalik of Uniontown Pennsylvania; his sisters-in-law Toni Shina and her husband Jack, Angie Dorn and her husband Greg, Bernice Dzenowski; his brothers-in-law Patsy Lucia and his wife Deborah, Vince Lucia, Michael Lucia and his wife Amy ; and many extended family members, not forgetting his dedicated companion, Bill the hound dog.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mihalik.
Born December 3, 1961 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania Bob was a man whose life was defined by his unwavering commitment to family, friends, and community. Bob's journey began at Fairchance George's High School, and he continued on to West Virginia University, where he proudly earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. His allegiance to WVU was evident in his deep love for their football team, a passion he shared annually with lifelong friends at games that became cherished traditions.
In his professional life, spanning just shy of 39 years at Automated Conveyor Systems, Bob excelled and was a dedicated electrical Research and Development Manager, and an Electrical Engineering Manager, showcasing a remarkable ability to solve problems and innovate. Yet, it was beyond his professional achievements where Bob truly shined. He was known as a master at fixing and creating things with his hands. Electrical projects around his home were not just tasks, but expressions of his craftsmanship and care for his loved ones. Ever a dedicated caretaker, Bob meticulously maintained his pool throughout the seasons, ensuring it was always a source of joy and relaxation for his family. His attention to detail extended to his home and yard, which he lovingly tended to, making sure they were places of comfort and happiness.
Bob had a special gift for bringing people together. Whether organizing gatherings or simply ensuring everyone felt included and valued, he exemplified the true spirit of hospitality and friendship. Christmas was a time that held particular significance for Bob. Each year, he delighted his neighborhood with a towering 20-foot tall, intricately built and programmed Christmas tree in his front yard, a labor of love that became a local attraction and earned recognition from the local news.
Beyond his love for home and community, Bob found a found passion for travel later in life. From near or far adventures like his recent 10-day dream vacation to southern Italy, Bob embraced every opportunity to explore new places and create memories with his family. This recent trip holds a profound significance as a cherished memory, having taken place only a short while ago. During this time, numerous happy and treasured moments were shared with those closest to him, strengthening their bond and creating lasting memories together. Through it all, Bob's greatest joy and pride were his family and friends. His caring, loving, and thoughtful nature touched the lives of everyone he met. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and a deep commitment to those he loved.

A Celebration of Life visitation service will be held for Bob on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 6 pm at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
