Although I was not a member of the Optimist Club of Alexandria when he was a member, other members who knew him told me he was President of the Club from 1981-82, Optimist of the Year 1982-83 and Lt. Governor of our zone. He was an important part of the Club history. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Bobby was not only a wonderful cousin, he was my best friend while growing up. We had a lot of fun no matter what we were doing. Bobby was always a real gentleman and made sure no one ever picked on me. The girls were always crazy about Bobby, because of his good looks and great personality. I will miss his kind heart and sympathetic ear.
May God be with Mary and the Family. I know he is watching over Bobby and hearing a lot of old football stories.
Love Janice

Bobby,

As I think back on the memories that we share together, it brings much joy into my heart. The games that we went to when my daughter was playing your girls at West Springfield or Robinson high school helped us reconnect with one another. The many dinners that we shared with you and Mary brings back the happiest of times. I will miss you cousin, and know that I love you.

Marie and I are so very sorry that Bob passed away. The years that Bob and I were in the Alexandria Optimist club were very special with Bob serving as President, Secretary and on the board of Governors. His calm laid back demeanor was something I admired. Bob was a good guy, fun to be around and I will miss him. Mary, thank you for calling us. Please accept our deepest sympathies.
