Roger Lewis Johns

Born on September 6, 1948 in Amherst County, he was the son of the late Lewis and Virgie Johns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Johns and seven siblings.

Roger loved to spend time in the outdoors, especially fishing and riding four wheelers and riding in the “Green Hornet” with his family and grandchildren. He loved listening to country music and was an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was the best husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Nancy Johns; stepdaughters, Windy Mendez and June Deel; seven siblings; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
