

“Peterwright”
Ronald Edward “Peterwright” Reynolds, Sr., 54, of Madison Heights, died Friday, January 21, 2005 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Diane Tyree Reynolds for thirty-fiveyears.
Born January 30, 1950 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Nannie Parker Reynolds of Madison Heights and the late David Edward Reynolds. He was an employee of Griffin Pipe Co., a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and attended Lighthouse Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Henry “Pee-Wee” Reynolds; and a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Brenda Tyree.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Reynolds is survived by one son, Ronald Edward Reynolds, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia of Madison Heights; one brother, Larry L. Reynolds and his wife, Kathy of Amherst; one sister, Edna R. Allen and her husband, Frank of Madison Heights; a sister-in-law, Patricia T. Manspile and her husband, Jimmy of Monroe; two brothers-in-law, Alfred Tyree, Jr. and his wife, Robin of St. Augustine, FL and Tommy Tyree and his wife, Nancy of Madison Heights; his special granddaughter, Sydney Nicole Reynolds and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services, 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2005 at Whitten Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Monelison Chapel by the Rev. Jack Finch. Interment with military honors by American Legion Post 16, in Meade Cemetery.
Family visitation, 3-5 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2005 at the funeral home and other times at the home of his sister, Edna, 248 Shady Oak Drive, Madison Heights.
