Ruth Webber Brooks

Ruth Webber Brooks, 88, of Madison Heights passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Westminster Canterbury. Born June 28, 1928, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Herman George Webber and the late Lela Nuckles Webber.

Ruth was a retired medication technician for the Central Virginia Training Center, and a member of Temple Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one son, George Stanley Cash, Jr.

Ruth is survived by her children Teresa Cash Tomlinson of Lynchburg, Helen Cash Lipscomb and her husband Luther of Amherst and Gary L. Cash of Madison Heights; three siblings, Frank Webber of Madison Heights, Ann W. Fulcher of Madison Heights and Colleen Webber; seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor J.D. Surbaugh officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2017, at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
