Born in Lynchburg, November 29, 1958, she was the daughter of Phyllis Woody Ragland of Amherst and the late Edmond Palmer White. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Sonny Ragland.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter and best friend, Lindsey Renee’ Cooper of Madison Heights and her sister, Elizabeth R. Jones of Evington.
Sheila was a good natured person and was loved by many.
A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Dave Peters officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
