Shirley Pritchett Sprouse

Born January 21, 1933, in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie Hooper Pritchett.

She was retired from Joan and Jays, and was a member of Holiness Tabernacle of God.

Survivors also include three children, William A. “Tony” Gunter and wife Jo, of Vinton, Garry Dale Gunter and wife Edith, of Gladstone, and Sandra G. Gunter, of Wakefield; a sister, Iris P. Harris, of Lynchburg; her foster brother, Fred Pritchett and wife Shirley, of Madison Heights, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 8, 2012, from 7-9:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel, and at other times at the residence of Garry Gunter.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the funeral home by the Rev. Arnold Bradley. Interment will follow in Oronoco Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
