Born June 14, 1949 in Princeton, WV, he was the son of the late Paris William and Suenail Britt Bailey and was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Bailey and a half-brother, Bobby Vickery. He was a retired supervisor with Greif, Inc. and was of Baptist faith.
Stephen is survived by a daughter, Beth Conner and husband James; a son, Stephen “Matt” Bailey and wife, Dawn, all of Madison Heights; a sister, Dreama Jan Bailey Keymon of Greenfield, TN and four grandchildren, Cole, Logan, Olivia, and Carson. Stephen was an avid pool player, loved working with wood, and playing video games.
The family will receive friends from 3-4:30 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
