Tammy Ann Wells Johns

Born on August 16, 1966 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Lloyd Dale Wells and Ann Schrock Fleshman. Tammy worked at J Crew for 15 years. She enjoyed going to movies, reading, and watching sports. She also had a special love for animals. She was of the Baptist faith. Tammy was a very down to earth and casual person. For those attending the service and visitation, the family would like you come as you are as they celebrate Tammy’s life.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ellen S. Schrock; paternal grandfather, Richard Wells; and paternal grandmother, Katie Coleman.

Tammy is survived by her father, Lloyd Dale Wells and wife Donna; her mother, Ann Schrock Fleshman; her son, JT Holt; sister, Micki Glenn and husband Twyman; brother, Ricky Wells and wife Leslie; maternal grandfather, Duane B. Schrock; nieces and nephews, Lauren Seitz and husband Donovan, Ricky Wells, Travis Wells, Meadow Wells, and Rebecca Phelps and husband Dallas and their son Carter; and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Celebrant Polly Starnes officiating. Interment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens.
