Tase Sherwin Cook

Sherwin Cook departed this life on June 10, 2016, following an extended illness. He was married for 62 years to his beloved wife the late Lora Cook.

As he rests with his Lord, he leaves two daughters, Jewell Cook of Madison Heights, and Whitney Cook of Waynesboro, one son, Michael Cook (Susan) of Forest, five grandchildren, Mike Cook, Jr. (Heather) of Madison Heights, Tommy Cook (Liz) and Cathy Cook of Lynchburg, Christy Gonzalez (Frank) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Rebecca Cook of Roanoke, and nine great grandchildren.

Mr. Cook will be interred at a private family service.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Timberlake Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
