Tex Louis Moore

Tex Louis Moore, 72, of Lynchburg, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Born November 3, 1946 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Edward Moore and the late Sylvia Cofflin Moore. Tex retired as a painter from McCullough Paint Company in Spout Springs and served our country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. Tex is survived by Roger Wright, who he raised as his son, and his wife Kimberly of Lynchburg; one grandson, Brandon Wright and wife Heather; brother, Danny Moore and wife Leitha; sister, Linda Goodman; numerous other family members and friends; and a son, David Moore. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel, with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
