Thomas Harden Price

Thomas Harden Price, 87, of Madison Heights, died Monday, March 8, 2010 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Talitha Wheeler Price for fifty-five years.

Born March 21, 1922 in Amherst County, he was the son of the late Arlie James and Evelyn Smith Price. He was retired from Hill City Wholesale and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Mr. Price is survived by three sons, William T. Price and wife, Lisa of Madison Heights, Edward O. Price and wife, Kim of Amherst, and Ray Price of Madison Heights and his fiancée, Carol Scannell; one daughter, Lois P. Tyree and husband, Greg Tyree of Madison Heights; ten grandchildren, Angela, Lauren, Justin, Matthew, Zachary, Cameron, Stephen, Lance, Adam, and Ryan and one great grandson, Christopher.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Grace Baptist Church, Madison Heights, with the Rev. Chris Hrabosky, Dr. Greg Tyree and the Rev. John Pickett officiating. Interment will follow in Bayley's Chapel Cemetery, Madison Heights.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today, March 9, 2010 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and other times at the residence.
