

Born March 28, 1980 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Jim Lewis of Madison Heights and the late Mary Ella Mays Lewis and was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth L. Mays. He was the Owner & Operator of Mt. Pleasant Logging and Excavating and a devoted member of Midway Baptist Church.
Timmy was an avid outdoorsman who loved bear hunting, fishing, camping, farming, trips to the beach and having fun with family and friends.
Timmy was a loving and devoted father to his precious daughters, Ella Renee and Emily Ann. He is also survived by a brother, John Lanier Lewis of Christiansburg; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Camden and husband Philip of Corvallis, MT; grandparents, Loree Bradley Mays of Amherst and John and Betty Lewis of Madison Heights; a nephew, William Camden; a niece, Rebekah Camden; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joan and Pat Woody of Elon and so many special family and friends, too numerous to list.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Don Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and other times at the residence.
