William Carroll Agnor

Bill is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Perkins Agnor, his son, William (“Billy”) Agnor and daughter-in-law, Vicky, his daughter, Linda Agnor Friesen and son-in-law, Warren; his grandchildren: Christopher Gibson,wife Tiffany, Jo Beth Johnston, husband Chris, and Kelly Stilson, husband Kevin.

His beloved great grandchildren are: Cameron, Johanna, and Allyson Stilson; Madelyn and William Johnston; Christopher Jr. and Eli Gibson.

Bill retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 1990. During retirement he loved being outdoors and exploring God’s creation. His grandchildren and great grandchildren will forever have sweet memories of fishing with their “Pop Pop”. Bill will be remembered for a deep love of his Lord Jesus Christ and leading many to Christ, including many of his own family members.

Visitation and memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 337 Lakeview Dr, Madison Heights, VA 24572. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, on Monday, March 27, 2023 followed by memorial service at 11:00 AM. Graveside service will be held at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, 116 Peaceful Lane, Lexington VA 24450, at 2:00 PM.

Serving as pallbearers are Herb Dunnam, Bill Fout, Ray Perkins, Peyton Fitzgerald, Jeff Tolley and Chris Johnston. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Gibson and Kevin Stilson..
