

Born January 30, 1938, in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Jean Gallant.
Mr. Gallant was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, and of The Gideon’s.
Survivors also include five children, Francis C. Gallant, of Baltimore, MD, William D. Gallant Jr. and wife Tina, of Baltimore, Jeanmarie G. Harris and husband Scooter, of Lynchburg, Matthew T. Gallant, of Baltimore, and Jim S. Guido and wife Laura, of Matthews, NC; two sisters-in-law, Dottie Mahoney and husband Dave, of Woburn, MA, and Margie Cercullo and husband Arthur, of Tewksbury, MA; 11 grandchildren, Easton, Dempsey, Freddie, Julian, Danielle, and Jack; a niece and nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at Temple Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at the church; by the Rev. J.D. Surbaugh Jr. Interment will follow with military honors by American Legion Post 16.
