

Born in Lynchburg, December 23, 1930, he was a son of the late Elbert Curtis Hall and Florence Davis Hall. He was retired from the Contel Phone Co. in Amherst, a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroe.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Pamela McPeake and her husband Mike of Lynchburg and two grandchildren, Taylor McPeake and Savannah McPeake.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Glynn Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
