

Twice married, she was the wife of the late William Lewis Robinson and the late James Harvey Martin.
Born December 1, 1929 in Sylvatas, VA, she was the daughter of the late Churchwell Alger Webb and the late Katie Clyde Hurst Webb and was also preceded in death by one brother, James Allen Webb and three sisters, Clyde Sharitz, Bonnie Flinchum, and June Hedrick.
Mrs. Martin is survived by five children, Gregory Lewis Robinson of Lynchburg, William Jeffrey Robinson of Madison Heights, L. Anthony Robinson and Myra Lynn Robinson, both of Lynchburg, and Michael G. Robinson and wife Joanne of Madison Heights; a sister, Virginia Dare Callahan of Dublin; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Scott Robinson and wife ReGina, William Brandon Robinson and partner Tina Hinkle, Katie Nichole Robinson, and Michael Austin Robinson and four great grandchildren, Amelia Rayne Robinson, William Scott Robinson, Caitlin Ivy Henry, and Emma Morgan Henry.
Mrs. Martin graduated from Big Creek High School, while living in Coalwood, VA. After raising her family mostly on her own, she became the official Corporate Secretary/Treasurer when Anthony and Company Salon opened in 1980. Although her business card read bookkeeper/office manager, she was always referred to as Mom, by both staff and clients, After doing all of the many jobs required to run a small business, she retired at the age of 81 and could never be replaced. She attended Grace Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Dan Lee officiating.
A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., Thursday at West End Cemetery in Wytheville.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
