Zach attended the Church I pastored for a couple of years. After my leaving we communicated by text and email very often. He was a daily reader of my Facebook devotional. I held Zach in great admiration for his kindness, character and Christlike spirit. I have no doubt but that he is with the Lord for his faith was real. I will miss him but I will fellowship with him again.

I believe God needed Zack in Heaven to be a positive influence on all of the young people there. Zack was one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever known. He would come to school and tell one of his teachers, “ You sure do look pretty today.” He wasn’t trying to get “brownie” points with the teacher, he genuinely meant it. He was a wonderful student who cared about all of his classmates.
I taught him when he was ten years old and as he grew older he always made a point of speaking and hugging me, even when he was a teenager and a grown young man. He was always the same Zack— with his peers, with his parents, with the youth, with everyone. EVERYONE loved him. There was no way you couldn’t!!
Maria, Jeremiah, and Family. I pray that God will comfort you and I know you will always remember what a fine young man Zack was and treasure your memories. My prayers are with all of you.
Love, Pat Massie

Zach's kindness and love were ever-present. There a few of us gifted with these things as he was. I am fortunate God let our paths cross, and I will miss him.

I remember going to Sunday school with Zach and playing basketball after church. He inspired me to be a servant of Christ. His kindness was radiant. You will be missed my friend 💙

I met Zach when he was playing T-ball some 20 years ago. He was so excited about his new tennis shoes. He came to me and pointed to his shoes. He said"Do you see my new shoes? They're going to make me run fast!" What an extraordinary young man he became.
