Zachariah Edward Millner

Zachariah Edward Millner, age 27 of Amherst went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2020. He was born in Lynchburg on October 22, 1992, son of Thomas L. Millner, Sr. and Maria E. Millner. Zachariah was a member of Midway Baptist Church where he was a member of the church committee and taught the Youth Sunday School Class. He worked for KMR Aviation and was a student at Liberty University. His main passion was his church but he also enjoyed playing video games, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Thomas and Maria he is survived by 4 brothers, Jeremiah Millner and fiancé Cheyenne Shepherd, Benjamin Millner and wife Jennifer, Thomas Millner, Jr. and wife Melanie H, and Joseph Millner and wife Melanie L. He is also survived by 5 nephews and 2 nieces as well as a number of uncles and aunts. A service celebrating Zachariah’s life will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Midway Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service until 8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Zachariah’s memory be made to Midway Baptist Church, PO Box 1019 , Amherst, VA 24521.
