Those left to carry on are the ones she fought so hard to live for, her children, Crystal and Josh Thacker of St. Albans; James and Nisha Dowell of Charleston; and Kimberly and Richard Sprouse of Malden; and her grandchildren she loved so dearly, Lindsey Carter of Charleston (who also took care of her till the end); Robert Carter and Morgan of Poca; and her forever baby, Samiya Dowell.
Angie had many jobs yet her favorite job was Kanawha Blvd. Animal Hospital as a Vet Tech. Her many jobs were Coonskin Dairy Bar, Merry Maids, Independent Housekeeper, CAMC dietary, Teays Valley Rental, WV Welding and private childcare in her home; which all led up to her favorite job ever working for Dr. Eric Lee at Kanawha Blvd. Animal. Unfortunately, Angie had to retire early with a back injury.
Angie loved thrift stores and estate sales. She grew up in Oakwood Baptist Church and went to DuPont High School.
She raised 3 wonderful children practically by herself with help and guidance from her mother. She enjoyed life with her children and grandchildren until the cancer slowed her down.
Many thank yous to so many yet a special one goes to BT Gibson for staying with her Best Friend from the time Angie moved in her town house till the end.
