Barbara Jane Hunter Martin

Barbara Jane “Bobbi” Martin, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 8, 2014, at the Putnam Center in Teays Valley. Barbara was born November 7, 1927 in Logan. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Garfield and Harriet Ellen Hunter; and her daughter, Kathleen Baber. She retired from the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources. She was a member of the Valley Grove Church of the Nazarene. Bobbi possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet demeanor that won the hearts of many. Her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by family and many friends. She is survived by her sons, Don and his wife Joyce Baber of Winfield and Keith Baber of Cross Lanes; Her grandchildren, Kelly Kirk of St. Albans, Lisa Hughes of Winfield and Chad Baber of Winfield. She has nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
